Due to the epidemic, my mother has been stranded in Korea since 2020 and has not been able to return to Hong Kong. Although my mother is Korean, she will return to Korea regularly, but this time was a very long period for me. Apart from missing my mother, it also made me think about the subtlety of various ties between indigenous people, immigrants, blood, and places.
The work is about the absence of my mother during the epidemic, and I tried to explain my emotional projection towards her through different scenes and details of objects.
