The work itself with description is among one way of presentation. What defines a work? Would that be possible to involve the interpretation of viewers as part of the work?
The exhibition is an experiment. We present our works in the group and discuss our interpretation on the works. The forms and concepts were to be reinterpreted in visualization of texts/ images, Works and interpretations are then put together to reform the presentation. It is hoped that alternatives could be found, with regards to the original works.
Starting from the existing idea of individuals, we find new ways of art through collaborative thinking.
For me, I like to think about humans. And through “observationʺ and ʺimaginationʺ, I see everyone, society and even myself.
Sickness, unharmonious personalities, is not only what I explore, but also the situation in today's society. In the expressionless face, emotions are always difficult to read, which prompted me to fantasize about humans.
Maybe it is true to say, people are filled with terror, violence, and sexuality.
I am always afraid to face the darkness of human nature, so I turn to my imagination as an unusual expression to mediate my thoughts.
In a world full of humanity, people may become distorted, ugly, and even chaotic, opposed to what we know as reality.
Through figure painting, I wish to delve into that kind of relationship.
"Man is born free and everywhere he is in chain"
If art must have an aim, in my opinion, it is to let freedom blossom.
Practise in life to realize another way of living. Join the public to evoke creativity in the comminity.
My works are mainly installations and are mostly focusing on local social issues. My lastest interest is on the creation of a deliberation that provokes creative synergy.
My past made me who I am.
Doing art is a process of self-examination and exploration of myself.
My works mainly blossom from memories. Using ceramics as my medium, I say my own story.
Different kinds of clay have their own personalities, just like everyone has his or her own characteristics.
While I am working with clay, I learn to understand it, and also understand myself.
I like feeling the clay, as it is taking shape in my hands. Its unknowns and possibilities brings us into dialogue for a while.
Highly interactive with the artist, it will follow my story and help me enter another dimension, another fictional world . It may exist, but it may not; it can be aboriginal, but innovative; it lets me control anything I want , even if it sometimes it will make me puzzled and trapped; Everyone will come into contact with it, but most people will choose to ignore it. I choose ceramic as my medium , and I have fallen in love with it.
