The influx of parallel traders has caused tension to Hong Kong people and completely changed the landscape of the city. The residence becomes strangers. Walking in the street every day, they do not feel as if they belong to their place. It seems difficult to reach their inner voices anymore. The author of the novel L’Étranger Albert Camus used words to reveal the "absurdity" in his daily life. In this artwork, I use transparent brushstrokes to show the “absurdity” that is found in our daily living and is regarded as normal phenomenon. The work also recalls my golden memory of my homeland.
Born and educated in Hong Kong, Bobo is an amateur urban sketcher. Her passion for art developed since having an opportunity to learn Chinese painting in her childhood. She expresses herself with different forms of medium in life drawing every day. Bobo believes that art shouldn’t be something out of reach for people and should be integrated with life. Working as a HR specialist in staff training and development over 10 years, she tries to bring elements of art to her workplace.

Since 2016, She started her voluntary work assisting in the painting lessons for dementia patients during leisure. Bobo hopes that she can continue to immerse herself in the world of art and share joy and happiness with others through drawing and snapshots.
