  • “In winter, hedgehogs huddle together to get warm. Yet their sharp spines hurt each other so eventually they separate. But the strong desire of warmth, soon bring them back together. And again, they step back because of pain.”

    I picked up abandoned labour gloves on the roadside. And I washed, disassembled and untangled them in an attempt to explore the distance between intimacy and strangeness in the relationship of I and the owner of the gloves.

Artist Introduction

Kimi graduated from HKU Speech and Hearing Sciences. She is currently working as a speech therapist. Her art works are mainly about exposing the underlying symbolic meaning of found objects in order to explore self, feeling, consciousness, memory and relationship between people and objects.
