Number 265, Room 17, the electronic broadcasting machine and I are inside the waiting room. In 18 days, the electronic broadcasting machine was repeatedly calling the people who lost their name, while I was repeatedly copying the numbers who gain their name. The memory faded rapidly but the tiredness remained in my hands.
Kimi graduated from HKU Speech and Hearing Sciences. She is currently working as a speech therapist. Her art works are mainly about exposing the underlying symbolic meaning of found objects in order to explore self, feeling, consciousness, memory and relationship between people and objects.
