“Curated Show” encompasses eight proposals resulted from a series of interviews and seminars. These proposals demonstrate an essential quality of self-initiation among students in determining the selection criteria, themes and forms of art-making in exhibitions.
For instance, the exhibition “Vision of Demiurge” aims at investigating the relationship between oneself and things around us from the third-person perspective. Demiurge hereby does not mean the varying concepts of the Divine in different religions, but the one who has the ability to roundly observe the system of cogwheels. This role is either a bystander or a creator: we create arts and observe arts. The exhibition named “Daydaydaydaydaily” showcases different interpretations of everyday life, the exhibitors think everything happens for a reason, just the way it should. “Assemble” concerns about the potential possibilities of ink painting.
