“Plentitude in Commonality”

The Department invited those outstanding alumni who graduated from the MFA program in the field of Chinese Arts to participate in the Invitational Exhibition entitled “Plentitude in Commonality”. Since the Department’s inception, it has been promoting “the study of Chinese art and culture and the exchange of Chinese and Western art”. Throughout those artworks in Chinese media created by our alumni, which not only basing on the spirit and philosophy of traditional Chinese art, but also linking up with the world’s cultures, enhanced in their own artistic languages, amounting to various as “Plentitude in Commonality” it means. Aim of the Invitational Exhibition is to summarize the achievements of our alumni and to observe the sustainable development of art in Chinese media in today’s multicultural environment. To increase social cognition of art in Chinese media and to discuss its possibility and development, a forum which is open to the public, will also be held during the exhibition.

* Shuttle bus arrangement: At 4:45p.m. that day, there will be shuttle bus at Sir Run Run Shaw Hall (school bus stop) to take visitors towards New Asia College.
