Contemporary Art is about art at present. The moment “present” is bizarre because it is always at present. Literally, “contemporary” infers “continuously-temporary”; if the nature of “contemporary” is complex and ambiguous, it seems dumb to discuss “eternity” in modern time : art is no longer superior, everything is art, nothing stays. In the age when “what’s next” is inconceivable, it is luxurious and senseless to talk about “eternity”, let alone believing in art.
Even though contemporary art is vague and dubious, “Nothing’s Gonna Change My Love For You”.
Corresponding to the title, the 38 graduates practice and persevere in art.
